I haven't had one of these Norman Blake guitars in the shop, and holy cow am I glad this one showed up! This is perhaps the lightest Martin I've ever played - it really does have that "float out of your lap" feel, and it just vibrates against your chest with such a delightful hum. Plays fantastic, and the wider spacing is very welcome for finger style playing. These are quite rare, and I believe only about 134 were made. Comes with original hardshell case.
Mahogany back/sides Italian spruce top 000 12-fret body, w/ 14-fret geometry Modified V neck profile Scalloped bracing Tortoiseshell pick guard and binding Rosewood headplate Ebony bridge and fretboard 1 13/16" nut, 2 5/16" spacing, 24.9" scale
Cosmetically, this guitar is in very good condition. There's an impression scrape/ding on the top, pictured, as well as a couple of spots next to the nut, also pictured. Otherwise just minor signs of handling. Do note that it's had a refret, and they are at about 70% remaining now.
