I recently received a small batch of fantastic Gibsons, and this one is probably the star of the show. You probably already know the storied history of this guitar, so I won't bore you with it. But suffice to say - the mojo is there, and it will slap you in the face. This one had a refret in 2010, and the tuners were replaced at some point (originals in the case). Otherwise it's still original, as far as I can tell. Comes with what looks like the original case.
Maple back/sides Sitka spruce top 17" super jumbo body Adjustable tune-o-matic bridge Rosewood bridge and fretboard Ebony headplate Kluson style tuners (originals in case) 1 11/16" nut, 2" spacing, 25 1/4" scale
Cosmetically, this guitar is in what I'd call good condition for the age. Lots of playwear throughout - dings, scrapes, etc. Call it 60 years of being lovingly played. There's a top seam separation, pictured, but it doesn't seem to go into the wood. Otherwise no cracks that I can find.
