Here's my first guitar from Collings's Traditional series, and now I know what all the hype is about. These guitars are voiced/braced very light to be warm and woody, and holy cow do they deliver. It just glows with warmth, and the trebles are super fat and rounded. This one has a torrified/baked Sitka top, too. Plays fantastic, right at 6/64", with a big chunky "barrel and heel" neck profile. Comes with original hardshell case.
Mahogany back/sides Torrified Sitka spruce top 14-fret OM body Animal hide glue construction Waverly tuners "Barrel and heel" neck Tortoiseshell binding Bone nut/saddle Ultra-thin nitro finish 1 3/4" nut, 2 5/16" spacing, 25.5" scale
Cosmetically, this guitar is in excellent condition, with only minor signs of handling.
