Whoa!! I haven't played one of Laurent's guitars in years, and boy was I missing out. All hyperbole aside - this is one of the best OM's I've played in years. It has that delightful snappy, airy tone, with a ton of response and crispness. The action feels so darn good that I left it a little buzzy while doing the setup - if you want to raise it up a hair I'm sure that would solve it. But I just couldn't bring myself to change it. And check out that beautiful, straight-grained Madagascar - that's the good stuff. Comes with Hoffee case!
Madagascar rosewood back/sides German spruce top 15 1/8" OM body Buckeye burl rosette, headplate, binding, butt wedge, and heel Oil varnish finish Waverly tuners Ebony bridge and fretboard 1 23/32" nut, 2 3/8" spacing, 25.5" scale
Cosmetically, this guitar is in very good condition. There's a dent on the headstock corner, pictured. The soft varnish top has some impressions here and there, but nothing too bad. It's all "catch it at just the right angle" type stuff.
