Here's a mind-blowing guitar from Bill Tippin's shop. This Crescendo is powerful and articulate, with wonderful note shaping and clarity. Love the wider string spacing for fingerstyle. But let's talk about the elephant in the room - have you ever seen birdseye Brazilian? Nope, me neither. So needless to say, this is one rare guitar. Especially paired with that beautiful set of Alpine spruce. It also comes with a custom Hoffee case ($1250) value.
Birdseye Brazilian rosewood back/sides Alpine (European) spruce top 15 1/2" Crescendo body Spalted maple rosette Highlander undersaddle pickup Gold Waverly tuners Maple binding throughout Brazilian rosewood bridge Ebony fretboard 1 3/4" nut, 2 5/16" spacing, 25 7/16" scale
Cosmetically, this guitar is in good condition. It has a few very faint finish checks off the bridge, but they're difficult to spot. Some wear around the headstock, some polish swirls, and a minor ding/mark here and there. Nothing that will jump out at you.
